Court Devil

Loosen up your court. The Court Devil is one of our most aggressive scarification tools. Designed to agitate the court surface without removing or damaging existing line tapes, it also helps prevent and break up mineral deposits, mold, algae and fungus that tighten the court surface.

Description

The Court Devil scarifies the court with circular steel blades mounted on free-turning axles. Agitating the top layer, this tool is ideal for hard compacted courts, loosening hardpan caked on top of the court, courts that get played frequently with a lot of compaction, and most scarification needs. It’s great tool to loosen up the surface and soften up the courts. 

Forty (40) saw-toothed blades are angled to scarify as the unit is towed behind a golf cart or maintenance vehicle. The Court Devil is also useful when lightly scarifying the top surface of a court for resurfacing or regularly scarifying the top surface of sub-surface irrigated Har-Tru courts, including HydroCourt and HyQ Courts.  Bags of Har-Tru or other weights can be added to the sturdy deck to increase the weight and depth of the blades. For best results on the court, add no more than 50 lbs of additional weight. 

Includes tow bar for attaching to the back of most utility vehicles.

4’ Tow Scarifier

Heavy duty tool for loosening court surfaces. This model is 4 feet wide with two rows of case-hardened nails. It’s heavy enough to allow the nails to really penetrate the surface. Especially good for sunbaked Southern courts that have excess calcium buildup. Truly a workhorse for reconditioning clay courts.

Description

The 4' Tow Scarifier is a heavy-duty tool for reconditioning compacted clay courts. The unit has two rows of case-hardened nails to penetrate the surface. The nails are staggered on each row to prevent clumps, and sized to fit between the alley tapes.

Levered wheels lift the unit over tapes so that tapes can be left in place during scarification. The nails are angled and actually self sharpen as they are used. You can adjust the steel rails to lower nails as they wear. The steel nail plate is removable for easy nail replacement.

Court Devil JR.

This little devil loosens your court! The Court Devil, Jr., uses the same scarification technology as our full-sized tow model. This is a hand model designed for maintaining areas along court perimeters, beneath the net line, along brick lines, and other hard to reach parts of the court. It agitates the surface to help prevent and break up mineral deposits, mold, algae and fungus that tighten the court surface

Agitating the top layer, this tool is ideal for hard compacted courts, loosening hardpan caked on top of the court, courts with areas of compaction, and most scarification needs. It's great for loosening localized hard spots.

Eighteen (18) saw-toothed blades are angled to scarify the court as the unit is pushed along the court. The Court Devil, Jr., is also useful when lightly scarifying the top surface of a court for resurfacing or regularly scarifying the top surface of sub-surface irrigated Har-Tru courts, including HydroCourt and HyQ Courts. Lets you groom hard to reach areas to overcome court compaction and get that soft sliding surface.

Lute/Scarifier

The lute/scarifier is two tools in one, made of all aluminum for scarifying, leveling and removing loose granules.  It is strong and sturdy, yet light enough to use all day, and excellent for spreading new material during topdressing.  The concave shape of the 30" wide blade allows the tool to "float" along the surface, without grabbing or digging in.
