“As a tournament Referee for the US Men’s Clay Court Championships at the West Side Tennis Club in Houston, I wanted to commend you for your company’s part in building the Har Tru courts on which the event was played. As you may know, the condition of these courts has been an issue in the past. I must say, however, that this new installation held up better and was in as good or better condition than any “clay” or composition courts on which I have worked. There was not one in-match repair necessary, and there was not one match postponed to fix a court. Also, we never had to water a court during a match.
